Teman-teman di Wisata Kota Toea memaparkan artikel menarik tentang hotel tertua di Jakarta:

PERNAH dengar nama Hotel Sriwijaya?

Jakarta will always be my favorite city (despite all those traffic and constant chaos in the streets). Here’s a piece written by Aksara Sophiaan from AREA Magazine that list down some of the things you must do to experience Jakarta as a whole cultural bonanza. It’s like one of those “N things to do before you die” minus the die part ….

Known most for its heavy traffic, Jakarta is hardly a typical escapist destination and likelier to be recognized as an economic fortress of the nation. Regardless so, as a melting pot of a variety of culture, Jakarta is founded on the belief of universal functions and aesthetics–a philosophy expected to unify one of the most populated and diversed countries in the world.

by the way, I love this one:

11. Ride on an ontel bicycle to explore Jakarta’s old, historic places: Gedung Mandiri, VOC Galangan, Pelabuhan Sunda Kelapa and many others.
