Mike Pinkerton, one of the Google dev team on Mac Chrome project stated that they had new development regarding the project. It seems the tab feature is getting more stabilize through the application. 

As a frequent Google Chrome user in Windows environment, I’m excited hearing this news. If this thing is stable, so long good old Safari on my Leopard system.
